Halloween pictures

We went as a zoo this year for halloween.....not much different from every other day actually! Chris was a turtle, Emily was a flamingo, CJ was a bengal tiger, Jenna was a giraffe, Alaina was an elephant and I was, of course, the zoo keeper. The last picture is a picture of us at the camp ground that we "lived" at for our last week in NC....we cooked out hotdogs and then made smores. The kids loved it and keep asking when we are going back to the camper.

CJ's t-ball team had their awards ceremony today even though the season is not over yet. CJ was SO excited to get his very first trophey. He said it was even better than getting a Piston cup!

Total chaos, just like on the field :)

It even has his name on it!

These pics are from the air show this weekend. The kids got to climb in and play on some of the helicopters and planes and they loved it. Jenna had dress up day at school that day and wore a ballet outfit and then didn't want to take it off.

maybe CJ will be a pilot someday....

Look what we picked up!

You can see that Jenna's ballet outfit didn't look too pretty by the time we left.

but she had a good time!

Alaina LOVES bath time! Especially now that she does not have to sit in a bath seat.

CJ and Jenna are taking swim lessons at the YMCA this month - every Tuesday and Thursday morning. They are both doing very well!

This is the power wheels Barbie Jeep that I got at a yard sale for $15 -I put a new battery in it and it was ready to go. It is in like new condition and the kids love it! Jenna will drive it for about 2 seconds and then tell CJ to drive (she is a little intimidated by it). CJ hauls hiney in it and drives like a maniac!

Alaina loves playing with her box of toys
She takes things out one by one until the box is empty.

These pics are from the mother's day brunch that CJ and Jenna's preschool had for all the moms. We ate together and they gave me all my gifts they had made. They were so proud of them and I love them!

Strawberry pickin!

We went strawberry picking on Sunday afternoon and the kids loved it! I thought they would complain about being hot and tired but they really didn't. We picked 60 pounds of strawberries (for $60) and they have given their all at eating every one of them! We are going to spend the next couple of days making jam and icecream and we will freeze some of them for smoothies! Yum,yum, yum!

We had Jenna's 3rd birthday at Pump It Up on Saturday. All the kids had great time and loved it! She got TONS of gifts! And I have to add that we went to the denist today and Jenna sat up in the chair and let them clean her teeth and put floride on them! If you have been around Jenna for 2 minutes you know that this is a Miracle! We were very, very proud of her. She is growing up very quickly.

Play Ball

My sweet baby boy started playing t-ball today. I cannot believe that he is old enough for this! It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. He is one of the youngest on his team and alot of them have played before so they know what they are doing, but he definetly did not. While he was standing in the field looking around I had the feeling we should have prepared him a little more. I don' t think he has ever even seen a baseball game being played (since he was a baby). He hit really well and tried to run really fast. But he never even tried to go after the ball and then when it was time to leave he was very upset that he never got to catch the ball. We will be practicing at home this week :0) He has another practice next Friday night and then we will find out when the first game is. I have to admit that I was a little teary eyed watching today, but I held it together!
