Emily, CJ and Jenna all had their first day of school today....Alaina starts 2 days a week tomorrow....bitter sweet! They are all so cute and were SO excited! They all had a great first day and are very happy about their new schools.
CJ had his preschool graduation Friday May 21, 2010. He was so cute when they sang all their songs before the ceremony. They learned a Bible verse for every letter A-Z during the year. CJ learned every one of them even though he just started there in the middle of January. There was only one other boy in his class that could say them all. :) I even got him to wear a button shirt that didn't have characters on it!
This is what I got today at Publix......a retail total of $301.74 and I paid $84.52!!! I saved 112.59 in sale prices, and $104.63 in coupons!!! I had CJ, Jenna and Alaina with me and it took us about an hour and a half to get through the store. When we were leaving I told CJ that we saved $217.22 and he started whooping and saying, "THAT'S ALOT OF MONEY! WE SAVED ALOT OF MONEY! NOW WE CAN GO TO DISNEY!" He helps me cut the coupons and circle the ads of what we are going to buy.....heaven help the woman he marries....she better be a bargain hunter :)
Okay, after MUCH inquiring from you, my family and friends, I am posting some pictures of our new house here in Florida. Please DO NOT enlarge your photos as there is no telling what you will see, I really need to clean, LOL! And keep in mind that I just took the pics, didn't try to make the house look perfect because then it never would have gotten done.....and we are friends, no? Anywa, here are the pics, hopefully you will get to see it in person soon!
This is the entry way that you see when you come in the front door, the double doors on the right go to Emily's room.
This is the dining room, to the left when you come in the front. You can see we need a new table with enough chairs to seat us all! It's on my yard sale list :)
This is the living room, but we are using it as the playroom for the kids.
This is the doorway to Emily's room.
Emily's walk in closet
Emily's bathroom, there is a door on the left that goes to Chris' closet and another door on the left that goes into our bedroom....this was meant to be part of the master suite - her room a study, but works better for us this way :)
This is the master bedroom
master bedroom (see my $100 yard sale bed!)
Master bath BIG bathtub!
Angie's closet - in master bath
Master bedroom, you can see the kitchen out the door
The kitchen, it is on the left when you come in the front door.
The kitchen on the left and the family room in front....you can see the doorway to the master on the right.
The family room....our new sectional, it has 4 recliners! Lulu loves it!
The kitchen, you can see into the dining room.
The laundry room is on the other side of the kitchen and goes through to the garage.
The door on the left goes to CJ's room, the middle door is a little linen closet, the next door goes to Alaina and Jenna's room and then there is another door that you can't see that goes to their bathroom.
CJ's new bed
CJ, Jenna and Alaina's bathroom
Alaina and Jenna's bedroom....I got Jenna a bed but still have to paint it white....
Jenna and Alaina's room
The backyard....if you look close you can see an orange on the orange tree in the corner of the yard!
Swingset that was here.....needs some new swings, but in pretty good shape for FREE!
The rest of the back yard.
And that's it. Nothing fancy, but about 1000 sq ft more than we had before. The neighborhood is nice, we are on a cul-de-sac so the kids can ride bikes and powerwheels. And did I mention there is a What-A-Burger 2 blocks away? Chris thinks we may retire here :)
We went as a zoo this year for halloween.....not much different from every other day actually! Chris was a turtle, Emily was a flamingo, CJ was a bengal tiger, Jenna was a giraffe, Alaina was an elephant and I was, of course, the zoo keeper. The last picture is a picture of us at the camp ground that we "lived" at for our last week in NC....we cooked out hotdogs and then made smores. The kids loved it and keep asking when we are going back to the camper.
